Made with a mixture of Impossible meat, pumpkin pie filling , fresh dates and a bagel. Fried in olive oil and served on a toasted bagel with chutney on the side. It’s the perfect balance of savory and sweet, packed with flavor. Perfect for a weekend brunch or as a convenient on-the-go breakfast. This meatless meat mix combo also makes a yummy meatless crumble to serve with eggs , cheese ,potatoes , spinach , pastas, casseroles and more . We used the filling from our pre- baked pumpkin pie. Ingredients:
1/2 pound Impossible meat savory breakfast sausage
1/2 cup pumpkin pie filling
5-6 chopped fresh dates
2 tbsp olive oil
bagels
Chutney for serving
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the Impossible meat, pumpkin filling , chopped dates and Mix well.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Form the Impossible meat mixture into patties and add them to the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until browned.
Toast the bagels and spread chutney on one half of each bagel.
Place the Impossible meat patty on the other half of the bagel and serve.
