MACARONI & Veggie MEAT SAUCE with Chutney (Recipe)

MACARONI & Veggie MEAT SAUCE with Chutney.

INGREDIENTS: Elbow Macaroni Pasta, Organic Italian Tomato based sauce, Plant based “Veggie” meat (Not Frozen), Organic Olive Oil, Organic yellow onions, organic sour cream, vegan mayonnaise and chutney.

Utensils Needed: Cutting Board, Sharp Knife, Small bowl, spoon, Frying pan, Stock pot, Plate, Large Scoop utensil.

Lets get started.

Directions:
Open packaging for meat, macaroni, sauce and any other ingredients.
Wash onion under running water to remove dirt and bacteria.
Place clean onion on your cutting board.
Chop onion with a sharp knife, cut down vertically into thick even slices .
Move cutting board with chopped onion to the side.
Pull out a small bowl.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of sour cream into the bowl.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of vegan mayonnaise into the bowl.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of chutney. (Adjust to taste)
Mix the bowl thoroughly until all of the contents become one.
Move the bowl to the side.
Move to Stove top.
Place one Frying pan and one stock pot or large pot on two separate cooktops.
Set frying pan Temp to Medium-High. Set Pot Temp to High.
– [ ] Add 3-4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil to frying pan.
– [ ] Add 4-5 cups of cold water in the pot.
Let water heat for about 8-10 minutes to come to a boil.
Add veggie meat to the pan with Oil. Break it up and let it start to sizzle for about 5 minutes, stir occasionally .
Add the chopped onions to the frying pan with meat.
Mix up the veggie meat and onions , stir occasionally to get a golden fry.
Add the macaroni to the boiling water.
Stir the macaroni occasionally, boil until soft, approximately 7-10min
Cook meat and onions until golden brown and firm, no less than 5 minutes and no longer 10 minutes depending on your stove heat type.(Gas vs Electric.)
Once meat and onions are cooked to a golden brown crisp and the macaroni has softened.
Turn off both stove tops and remove pan and pot from the heat.
Prepare a colander in the sink and dump out the macaroni into the colander way from your body.
Gently Shake out and drain any excess water from the macaroni.
Open pasta sauce and pour about half of the jar into the frying pan with meat and onions.
Prepare a large serving bowl or plate.
Add macaroni to serving bowl using a large slotted serving spoon to help drain any more excess water. Spread out the macaroni evenly.
Add all of the meat and onions sauce from the pan evenly on top of macaroni.
Add 10-12 tablespoons of the chutney sauce evenly on top of the meat sauce.
