Organic EGGS & Veggie BACON with Chutney
INGREDIENTS: Two Organic cage free brown Eggs. one Fresh Afghan Naan. One Green Bell Pepper and one Red Bell Pepper. Two strips of Plant based “Veggie” Bacon (Not Frozen), Organic Olive Oil, Organic Vegan Butter.
Utensils Needed: Cutting Board, Sharp Knife, Small bowls, two frying pans, plate
Lets get started.
Directions:
Open packaging for peppers, Veggie bacon, Afghan Bread and any other ingredients.
Wash Peppers under running water to remove dirt and bacteria.
Place clean peppers on your cutting board.
Chop Peppers with a sharp knife, cut down vertically into thick even slices .
Place chopped peppers in a small bowl.
Pull out two strips of Plant based Bacon.
Pull out Two eggs.
Move to Stove top.
Place two Frying pans on two separate cooktops. Set both Temp to Medium-High.
– [ ] Add 3-4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil to one pan.
– [ ] Add 1.5-2 Tablespoons Butter to the second pan. Melt Butter down to liquid.
Add veggie Bacon to the pan with Oil. Let it start to sizzle for about 3 minutes.
Crack egg shells and pour egg contents in to the pan with butter. Discard of the egg shells.
Mix the eggs, breaking the yellow yolk and creating a scramble or omelet type .
Let the eggs cook for about 3 minutes.
Flip the veggie bacon on its opposite side.
Add the Chopped peppers to the same pan as the veggie bacon. Mix and flip peppers with the bacon to ensure a good even golden color.
Flip the the scrambled or omelet style eggs to cook the top side for another 90 seconds.
Cook eggs until both the yolk and white are firm, no less than 5 minutes and no longer 10 minutes depending on your stove heat type.(Gas vs Electric.)
Once the eggs are done and veggie bacon and peppers are cooked to a golden crisp.
Turn off both stove tops and remove pans from the heat.
Prep a plate with a piece of fresh Afghan Naan.
Remove Veggie bacon and peppers from the pan, and set on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Remove the eggs. Place the eggs in the middle of the Afghan Naan.
Place the Bacon Strips on top of the eggs.
Place the Peppers on top of the bacon.
